January: Fidus sets up in-house investigation team.
August: First ex parte injunction order to restrain a television advertisement which colloquially used a registered trademark in a generic sense for entirely dissimilar products.
October: Fidus’ first “sweeping John Doe” order for city-wide civil raids for a high technology client.
February: Fidus collaborates with Central Board of Excise and Customs, Government of India to organise anti-counterfeiting dialogue with
e-commerce intermediaries.
April: Fidus secures landmark court order for Western Digital Corporation declaring re-furbished products infringing and directing their seizure at the point of import.
August: Shwetasree appointed amicus curiae by Delhi High Court in a copyright dispute.
January: Shwetasree appointed
